The generation of productive linkages in the tourism branch of Chichén Itzá´s archaeological site and its impact area is analysed. A survey was applied to 30 companies and 140 tourists in the area, with a simple random probability sampling. Discussion of results is sustenance in the theories proposed by Gollub, Hosier and Woo on “Cluster and the integration of the tourism chain”; “Tourism and regional development” of Torres; and Calderon´s concept of “Intersectorality” and of “Analysis of Market situation”. We found that there are productive horizontal linkages among the companies of Chichén Itzá´s archaeological site, that does not exist among these companies a high degree of integration (mainly productive links of vertical type), that formation and creation of productive linkages in this archaeological zone has been insufficient to meet the demand profile for domestic and foreign tourists, and that mechanisms of business links, virtual and commercial marketing and the diffusion of elements of Chichén Itzá corporate identity and image present a significant potential space for clusters development.
